The Department of Nursing, Midwifery and Early Years has an excellent reputation in the education of nursing, midwifery and early years practitioners. Our experienced lecturers create a positive learning environment which enables students to reach their full potential.

The state-of-the-art facilities including a fully equipped early years resource room and clinical skills laboratory ensure that students can practice their skills in a safe environment. All our programmes include clinical/professional practice placements which ensure that our graduates are ready for professional practice.

Nursing, midwifery and early years graduates will have the academic knowledge, evidence-based practice skills and professional attributes to contribute to health and early years services locally, nationally and internationally.
