The Department of Nursing, Midwifery and Early Years has an excellent reputation in the education of nursing, midwifery and early years practitioners. Our experienced lecturers create a positive learning environment which enables students to reach their full potential.
The state-of-the-art facilities including a fully equipped early years resource room and clinical skills laboratory ensure that students can practice their skills in a safe environment. All our programmes include clinical/professional practice placements which ensure that our graduates are ready for professional practice.
Nursing, midwifery and early years graduates will have the academic knowledge, evidence-based practice skills and professional attributes to contribute to health and early years services locally, nationally and internationally.
We keep our class sizes small to ensure you get enough contact hours with lecturers and get any support you may require.
Located in the Muirhevna Building, we have state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, including a clinical Skills Laboratory, Early Years Resource Room and much more.
We have established links with health and early years services for the provision of clinical/professional practice placements.
