Students can complete a work placement, study abroad with Erasmus, or continue with Year 3 modules.
Work placement
Students have the opportunity to participate in a 12-week industry work placement in Year 3, and students will be prepared for their placement through specially designed modules focusing on workplace communications and interview techniques.
Students from business and management courses have completed their work experience and subsequently been offered full-time permanent positions upon completion of their degrees at a range of national and international companies including First Derivatives, Combilift, Irish Life, UHY Farrelly Dawe White, Enterprise Ireland, GS Medical and Flogas, to name a few.
This placement is arranged through the dedicated Placement Office at DkIT and they are the central point of contact for the host organisation and provide a key role in supporting the students before and during the placement.

Entry requirements
In addition to the standard entry requirements below, there are the following Language Elective Requirements: French: Ordinary level grade O3 or Higher level Grade H5 at Leaving Certificate or equivalent; Spanish/German/ Chinese: No prior knowledge required.

Advanced Entry & Transfer Applications
Advanced Entry is for applicants who have previous educational achievements and/or work experience and want to be considered for direct entry into year 2, 3, or 4 of a course. This includes students looking to transfer to DkIT from another Higher Education provider.
International Application (non-EU)
International Applicants (not from or living in the EU) can apply through an agent or directly to DkIT to study this course.
