Biography

Glenn McCormack is a lecturer within the Department of Hospitality Studies, and is Programme Director for the BA in Hospitality Management. 

A DkIT graduate, Glenn has almost two decades of industry experience with a strong track record across sales, marketing, event management, hospitality management, account management, revenue strategy, forecasting, and business development - gained through roles in high-profile MICE venues and hotels across Ireland and the UK. 

Glenn brings an industry-informed perspective, bridging theory with practice. His experience spans operational leadership and strategic planning, with a particular focus on commercial growth in corporate events, tourism and food & beverage operations, and enjoys staying closely connected to trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the hospitality and events sectors in Ireland.
