Bridget’s passion is Science Communication, she loves to use creative ways to communicate and explore science in the world. Bridget can talk about all things SPACE or all things BEES! You decide!!

Secondary School

Duration: 1 Hour

Bridget has a background in microbiology and science communication, who is passionate about using creative ways to communicate and explore science in the world. Bridget is involved with EU projects exploring the importance of STEAM education in Europe, as well as interdisciplinary projects around entrepreneurship.  

Bridget has worked in various roles from researcher in Ireland, Australia and Canada as well as an Education and Outreach manager, and as a quality control operative.  She currently lectures in the Department of Life and Health Science in DkIT and would love to meet your class for a Q&A session/STEM talk. Bridget is involved in EU projects which explore using creative methods to teach science to all levels, and is open and enthusiastic to developing projects with schools around STEAM education.
