At DkIT, our teaching and research experience is divided across 4 Academic Schools of Business & Humanities; Engineering; Health & Science and Informatics & Creative Arts. You will be part of one of these Schools and your studies will usually include a combination of tutorials, lectures, lab classes, group work, presentations, student projects and work placement.

School of Business and Humanties

As the largest of the four Schools at DkIT, there is a significant portfolio of programmes to study across a wide range of subject disciplines. Faculty from the School have won several awards for both their teaching and their research, including a second DELTA Award in 2022.

School of Engineering

The School of Engineering offers a broad range of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level across areas including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, construction management, architectural technology, building surveying, in addition to the provision of engineering trades.
School of Health and Science

School of Health and Science

The School of Health and Science offers an exciting range of courses, from Level 7 to Level 10, in a friendly and supportive environment. Course areas including nursing, midwifery, early childhood studies, veterinary nursing, pharmaceutical science, biosciences, biopharmaceutical science, agriculture, food production, and environmental biology, among others.

School of Informatics and Creative Arts

The School of Informatics and Creative Arts offers a wide variety of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels across areas such as computing, games development, creative media, film and television, theatre practice, music performance and production.
