SUSI Part-Time Funding
For part-time undergraduate courses
Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI) is Ireland’s national awarding authority for further and higher education grants. SUSI offers financial assistance to eligible students pursuing approved part-time undergraduate courses, aiming to reduce financial barriers and enhance access to higher education.
What funding is available?
A fee contribution is available to eligible students based on the number of European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits undertaken by them during the academic year.
What are ECTS Credits?
ECTS is an academic credit system based on the estimated student workload required to achieve the objectives and learning outcomes of a module or programme of study. Used across Ireland and Europe, this system ensures consistency in how higher education programmes are structured and recognised.
