Year 3 Event Management students in DkIT—Aimee Newman, Joshua Denny, and Heather Kiernan recently hosted a successful Business Seminar titled Change with the Times – Thrive as an Entrepreneur, as part of their final-year module.

The engaging seminar brought together students, aspiring entrepreneurs, and seasoned business leaders for a day filled with learning, inspiration, and networking. Guest speakers included Paul Murphy from AVCOM, a leading event production agency specialising in premium Audio-Visual services; Caroline St Leger from Signarama, a provider of graphics and signage solutions; and Daniel McLoughlin from the award-winning Rocksalt Cafes. Following the seminar, the guests were treated to lunch at DkIT’s Hospitality Training Restaurant, skilfully prepared by DkIT’s Year 3 Culinary Arts students and served by Year 1 Hospitality Management students.
