Creative Student Team ‘Moirai’ Win Best in Show at FIS 2024

The creative media student team ‘Moirai’ have won the FIS 2024 Best in Show award with their innovative digital and print project.

This year’s showcase, FIS 2024, featured the creative and innovative work of students from the BA and BA (Hons) Creative Media course. The judges were highly impressed, noting that it was incredibly hard to pick a winner due to the outstanding quality of all entries.  The winning project by ‘Moirai’ was an interactive printed poster, blending traditional and futuristic methods of graphic design.

The Winning team ‘Moirai’ consisted of Pavla Vesela, Magdalena Kamaradova, Sean Markey and Ciaran Nugent. The goal of “Moirai” was to offer an engaging and thought-provoking platform for self-reflection. The project invited participants on a journey of self-discovery through an interactive questionnaire. The project prompted individuals to reflect on their daily habits and decisions. Using a beautiful hand-printed document, they answer 20 questions to unveil insights into their personality type. Finally using augmented reality (AR), participants can scan their results to reveal additional information and visual effects, overall creating an immersive and visually captivating experience.
