Fís creative and interactive showcase 2026

Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) is delighted to welcome the return of Fís 2026, our annual celebration of graduate creativity, innovation and achievement.

This year, Fís expands to feature two showcase events, highlighting outstanding work from both undergraduate and postgraduate students across creative media and computing disciplines. The showcases feature work from four courses:

• BA (Hons) in Creative Media
• BA in Creative Media
• MSc in Computing in Computer Animation Production
• MSc in Computing in Games and Extended Reality

Across both showcases, visitors can experience a diverse collection of projects spanning games, animation, interactive media, film, design and digital platforms. The work highlights media and technology as both a creative practice and a means of inquiry. Students experiment with new forms of storytelling and audience engagement — from interactive narratives and immersive experiences to web, audio and visual projects — while addressing themes such as identity, mental wellbeing, online behaviour and the impact of emerging technologies.

Across both showcases, visitors can experience a diverse collection of projects spanning games, animation, interactive media, film, design and digital platforms. The work highlights media and technology as both a creative practice and a means of inquiry. Students experiment with new forms of storytelling and audience engagement while addressing themes such as identity, mental wellbeing, online behaviour and the impact of emerging technologies.
