SciFest at DkIT

SciFest is an all-island STEM initiative and national event which aims to encourage a love of science and provide an opportunity for students to complete research projects in their school and display their scientific discoveries at regional finals.
DkIT has been delighted to host the North Leinster/South Ulster regional finals for the past ten years. Students competing in the event can complete projects from a broad span of areas including physical sciences, computer science, social sciences, technology/engineering and health sciences.
How it Works
Each student may enter only one project but a school may enter a number of projects in various categories as outlined on the SciFest website.
Winners from each regional STEM fair go on to compete at a National Finals in November.
Represent Ireland
Winners of the National Final go on to represent Ireland at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in the USA and the Hong Kong Global Youth Science and Technology Bowl (GYSTB) and attend the Berlin Long Night of Science.
How to Enter
Details on how to participate, entry forms and guidelines are available on the SciFest website at www.scifest.ie.
