SoccerIQ is an applied research project funded through the Research Ireland ARC Hub initiative. The project aims to develop an AI-driven computer vision system capable of automatically detecting and quantifying football actions—such as passes, shots, tackles, and headers—from a combination of video footage and sensor data.​

This project is being led by Dr Kevin McDaid and funded through Research Ireland through the ARC Hub Initiative.
