The Estates Office at Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) is responsible for the implementation of all major and minor building works, facilities management and Health & Safety co-ordination throughout the campus.

Estates Requests for Staff

Requests for any facilities management items including cleaning, caretaking, electrical maintenance, mechanical maintenance, carpentry must be made through our online ticketing system.

Sustainability and Climate Action

DkIT is committed to Energy Efficiency and Sustainability and has recently published a Climate Action Roadmap based on the 2024 Climate Action Mandate, which sets out the DkIT's plans to reduce emissions and meet decarbonisation and energy efficiency targets as directed by Government.

DkIT recognise the scale of the challenge to achieve the step changes required to meet the national emissions reduction targets, alongside tackling the biodiversity crisis.
