The Information Literacy Prize was first launched in 2010 to acknowledge student excellence in academic writing. The Information Literacy Prize was developed by De Chastelain Library in association with the Centre for Learning and Teaching (CELT).
The IL Prize initiative aims to promote learning from feedback and the process includes a round of feedback where entrants are invited to change and develop their written work as a result of feedback. The Prize is allocated to the work that evidences the deepest engagement with feedback.
