The School of Informatics and Creative Arts has a diverse range of single, inter and multi-disciplinary courses on offer in a range of technological and artistic disciplines. These include computing, creative media, film and television, theatre practice, music.performance and production. The school aims to blend together the technical and the creative with a view to producing graduates with skills appropriate to the needs of tomorrow and in tune with the emerging global creative economy.
This School mission is built upon the word “CREATE” with our mission being to create an environment to foster Collaboration, Research and Enterprise in Arts and Technology through Education.

The Department of Computing and Mathematics offers courses in all traditional aspects of computing with themes ranging from software development to networking, as well as information technology support and management.

The Department of Visual and Human-Centred Computing offers courses in a range of areas including computing, games and multimedia web development and design. We work closely with the other departments in the School to offer courses encompassing up-to-date creative technologies.
