School of Health and Science at Dundalk Institute of Technology.
The School of Health and Science here in DkIT was formed in 2004 and consists of approximately 1200 students. The School is comprised of the following three departments and two sections:
→ Department of Nursing, Midwifery & Early Years
→ Department of Life & Health Sciences
→ Department of Agriculture, Food & Animal Health
→ Section of Midwifery
→ Section of Part-time Programmes
The School offers an exciting range of courses ranging from Level 7 to Level 10 in a friendly and supportive environment. Course areas including nursing, midwifery, early childhood studies, veterinary nursing, pharmaceutical science, biosciences, biopharmaceutical science, agriculture, food production, and environmental biology, among others.

Located in the Muirhevna Building, Jocelyn Bell Burnell Science Building and the North Building, the School of Health and Science offers students a wide range of state-of-the-art facilities including clinical skills labs, multipurpose research labs, cell culture simulation suites, and dedicated teaching spaces.
