Course Overview

This module covers the practical skills and managerial knowledge required to appreciate the critical part played by the sales function within an organisation operating in a global dynamic marketplace. 

Understanding the Industry

The role of Sales within the business environment is essential to understand in the local, national and global marketplace.  The adoption of effective sales techniques and strategies can ensure that an organisation positions itself within its marketplace to gain optimal sales within a competitive environment.

Career Opportunities

The course provides a starting point for a career in areas such as:

  • Sales Manager
  • Account Manager
  • Customer Sales Representative
  • Regional Sales Executive

Course Delivery and Modules

This course is delivered on Fridays from 9 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm (On Campus) for 6 weeks.


 

Education Progression

Graduates who successfully complete this module may be eligible for an exemption on specific programmes within this academic area of study.

Recognition of Prior Learning
