The programme applies the principles of on-farm biosecurity to various farm enterprises and identifies specific disease problems within a herd with view to the development of a comprehensive Herd Health Plan.
This micro-credential would be suitable for agri-food enterprises from a range of backgrounds.

Entry requirements
The minimum entry requirement for the level 8 micro credential is a level 7 major award in agriculture/ animal science/ crop science or a related area.
Graduates of other disciplines will be assessed for entry through the Recognition of Prior Learning process on an individual case-by-case basis.
Candidates may be interviewed.
