In this programme, students will acquire a knowledge and understanding of soil science and the evolving relevance in sustainable agriculture and it's pivotal role in GHG reduction and mitigation. This programme will be applied to various management decisions based on soil properties and environmental issues.
This micro-credential would be suitable for agri-food enterprises from a range of backgrounds.

Entry requirements
The minimum entry requirement for the level 8 micro credential is a level 7 major award in agriculture/ animal science/ crop science or a related area.
Graduates of other disciplines will be assessed for entry through the Recognition of Prior Learning process on an individual case-by-case basis.
