This programme will focus on the challenges facing land-based production in the 21st century and on the role of emerging genetics based and advanced breeding technologies in meeting these challenges sustainably. This programme is suitable for employees from the Agri-Food Industry.

Entry requirements

The minimum entry requirement for the level 8 micro credential is a level 7 major award in agriculture/ animal science/ crop science or a related area. 

Graduates of other disciplines will be assessed for entry through the Recognition of Prior Learning process on an individual case-by-case basis. 

Candidates may be interviewed.
