Course Overview
This course provides learners with the necessary knowledge and skills in sound design, programming, and implementation, relevant to the audio-visual industry related to games and interactive media.
By balancing sound design and implementation skill development alongside teamwork and entrepreneurial skills, this course will also encourage students to develop skills in research, critical reflection, and communication. The course is designed to develop creative and professional attitudes which will enable engagement and collaboration.
The course encourages students to develop entrepreneurial skills, behaviours and attitudes and learners are challenged to consider sound design, sound for games and sound production for interactive media issues from a variety of cultural perspectives.

In Year 3 students undertake an industry work placement where they gain important contacts within the industry to help them in their future careers.
