School of Informatics and Creative Arts at Dundalk Institute of Technology.

The School of Informatics & Creative Arts has a diverse range of single, inter and multi-disciplinary courses on offer in a range of technological and artistic disciplines. The School is comprised of the following departments:

→ Department of Visual and Human Centred Computing
→ Department of Computing Science and Mathematics
→ Department of Creative Arts, Media & Music

The School offers a wide variety of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level across areas such as computing, games development, creative media, film and television, theatre practice, music performance and production. The School aims to blend together the technical and the creative with a view to producing graduates with skills appropriate to the needs of tomorrow and in tune with the emerging global creative economy.

Department of Computing Science and Mathematics

Offers courses in all traditional aspects of computing with themes ranging from software development to networking, as well as information technology support and management.

Department of Visual and Human-Centred Computing 

Offers courses in a range of areas including computing, games and multimedia web development and design. We work closely with the other departments in the School to offer courses encompassing up-to-date creative technologies.

Home to an exciting and innovative range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. It hosts regular events, performances, exhibitions, showcases and students have travelled globally to engage in international events
