School of Business and Humanities

The School of Business & Humanities is the largest academic school within in DkIT and is comprised of the following four Departments:

→ Department of Business Studies
→ Department of Management & Financial Studies
→ Department of Humanities
→ Department of Hospitality Studies

The School offers a range of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level across areas such as accounting and finance, business and management, digital marketing, communication & public relations, arts, sport, youth work, social care, event management, culinary arts, hospitality management, among others. The School places a large focus on the practical application of learning and many courses contain work placement as a mandatory element giving students real work-based learning opportunities.

Department of Business Studies

The Department of Business Studies is the largest department within the School of Business & Humanities with circa 600 students. 

Department of Management and Financial Studies

Department of Humanities

The Department offers programmes at Ordinary Degree and Honours Degree level as well as postgraduate degrees at Masters and PhD level.

Department of Hospitality Studies

The Hospitality Industry is one of the world's fastest growing industries. It offers excellent career opportunities in Ireland and internationally for suitably qualified people.
