Niamh, a BSc in Veterinary Nursing student, details her work placement experience at Applewood Veterinary Hospital, Coolock Veterinary Hospital & The Curragh

My role on placement was to shadow the Vet Nurses in practice and watch what they would do on a day to day basis.

Immerse yourself in the work placement...get involved, ask as many questions as you want and just enjoy it while you're there. Work placement has made me so excited to graduate and work in the industry.
