Biography
With a social science background, I have experience in both the U.S. and Ireland across a range of roles including: intercultural relations and anti-racism training, addiction interventions, higher education administration, business promotion, adult education teaching, undergraduate lecturing, academic research, postgraduate student supervision, primary school management, voluntary organisation governance, living lab management, as well as research funding, policy, and culture.

B.Soc.Sc (University College Dublin); H.Dip.in Business for small enterprise support (DkIT); MSc by research (DkIT) on the topic of: The Barriers to access and use of GP out-of-hours services for older people; currently engaged in PhD studies (VUB, Belgium).
Research & Interests
My interests lie in social justice (promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in the education sector as well as in health and social care contexts) and enhancing equal opportunities for engagement and contribution in society through open access to education and research. My prior research has been in the areas of anti-racism, intercultural relations, immigration, equality, and health/wellbeing in older age.
