Biography

Robert is the Technology Transfer Manager at Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT), where he leads the institute’s industry engagement and commercialisation activities. A graduate of both DkIT and the Irish Management Institute (IMI), he plays a central role in fostering innovation, strengthening enterprise collaboration, and translating research into impactful, market-ready solutions.

Bringing a strong background from the private sector—particularly in retail and service industries—Robert combines commercial insight with strategic leadership. His entrepreneurial experience as a former business owner further enhances his practical understanding of business operations, including strategy development, customer engagement, and growth.

Robert has a proven track record in advancing research commercialization, building effective partnerships between academia and industry, and enabling the successful transfer of knowledge and technology to the marketplace.
