Biography

Omid is a Postdoctoral Researcher at NetwellCASALA, where he evaluates the implementation and outcomes of the Changing Lives – Flourish and Thrive initiative. Funded by PEACEPLUS, this project provides early intervention support to parents of children with neurodevelopmental differences, including autism and ADHD. 

Omid has a background in Nutrition Science, having completed his PhD at the Technological University of the Shannon. His doctoral research examined how parents make food choices for their young children, revealed gaps in national nutrition guidelines, and identified children most vulnerable to inadequate micronutrient intake and deficiencies.
 

Research & Interests

Omid’s research interests include child health and development, parenting support, public health nutrition, and policy evaluation.
