Biography
After over a decade working in various roles in the professional audio industries, Niall made the jump to academia, obtaining a MA and PhD in Sonic Arts from Queen’s University Belfast. He currently lectures in Audio & Music Production in Dundalk Institute of Technology, from where he also holds an MA in Learning & Teaching. His research interests cover the musicology of record production, the relationship between music and emotion and the pedagogy of music production. Niall also regularly DJs and produces electronic music and has more synthesisers than is entirely healthy.Teaching
