Ms Karen Commins
Biography
Karen Commins is a Lecturer and Programme Director for the BA (Hons) in Business Marketing and Tourism Management within the Department of Hospitality Studies. She teaches a range of modules across programmes, including Tourism Operations, Research Methods and Ethics, Tourism Issues and Challenges, and Research Supervision.
She has extensive teaching experience in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management across several higher education institutions, including the Swiss Hotel Management School in Leysin, Switzerland, and the University of Derby Online Learning, where she worked as an Academic Associate.
Karen holds a BA (Hons.) in Hospitality Business Management, a Master of Arts in International Hospitality Management, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education [Post-16] and a Master of Arts in Learning and Teaching.
