Jimena Barrientos Paras

Biography

Studied Biology in the National Authonomous University of Mexico, specializing in Molecular Biology and Microbiology. 
Afterwards, did my Master's Degree in Biochemical Science in the Engineering Institute of the National Authonomous University of Mexico, in a project on Anaerobic Digestion of algae. 
Currently in a PhD at DkIT using Biochar for water treatment and soil enrichment. I am passionate towards bioremediation and applying bioprocesses and microbiology towards generating environmental solutions.
