Ms Fiona Hackett
Biography
Fiona is a Lecturer on BSc. Health and Physical Activity, BSc. Nutrition and Health and BA. Early Childhood Education and Care. She has a First-Class Honours Degree in Sport Science and Health, a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology and a Graduate Certificate in Women's Health in Sport and Exercise. Fiona is currently completing a Doctorate through Dublin City University and her research focuses on The Athlete-Mother Journey in Gaelic Games - exploring the practices, perceptions and experiences of players as they navigate a sporting career throughout their reproductive years. Other research interests include, female athlete health and performance and supporting girls to be physically active.
