Biography
Annalisa Monticelli is an all-round musician with a strong Classical background and a passion for Popular Music (Jazz and Latin-American). Annalisa regularly performs as a soloist/chamber musician and has performed in Italy, Ireland, Spain, Romania, Germany, England, Poland, France, Switzerland, Malaysia, Argentina and the USA. She has recorded several CDs as a soloist and with ensembles. Annalisa is currently a PhD candidate in TU Dublin.Teaching

Research & Interests
During her undergraduate and Master studies in Argenina and Italy, Annalisa focussed her research on Latin-American Music, writing Papers and dissertations about Astor Piazzolla, Heitor Villa-lobos, Carlos Guastavino and Alberto Ginastera. Her Music education dissertation was based on the use of Latin-American folk music in primary school education and elementary piano.Currently a PhD Candidate in TU Dublin Annalisa is focussing on Michele Esposito and his Irish piano school (1882-1926).
