Useful information for employers attending the careers fair at DkIT. Find out all you need to know about registration, display stands, refreshments, wi-fi, directions and parking.
Registration on the day:
We would ask all exhibitors to make your way to the main reception (marked building 1 on the map). Student Ambassadors will be on hand to direct you to the registration desk and help you to the Exhibition Space in the MPC.
On registration, you will be provided with an Event Pack, refreshments and lunch vouchers.
Display Stands:
The student ambassadors will escort you to your designated stand and be on hand all day in order to assist you.
The display space will include:
- Trestle Table (6ft x 2ft), 2 chairs and a table cloth
- 1 Electrical socket is available at each stand. If you require any more sockets we would ask you to bring an extension cable with multiple outlets.
- Guest WiFi access
We encourage you to bring as much promotional material and branding aids as you can on the day.
Wi-Fi:
You will be provided with a WiFi password in your Event Pack on registration.
Refreshments & Lunch:
You will be provided morning refreshments and vouchers for lunch on registration.
Networking Lunch will be available from 1pm onwards.
Directions & Parking:
- As with all busy campuses, parking is limited.
- Please note in order to ensure you secure a parking space on campus, we would stress the importance of arriving as early as possible between 08:00 - 08:30
- We encourage carpooling where possible.
- Paid parking and clamping is in operation on campus – for cashless parking, you can register in advance via APCOA Connect
- There will be a car park exclusively available for exhibitors (Car Park 2). It will be managed on a first come, first served basis
- Parking Ushers will verify your company on entry to the Car Park.
- Paid parking is available throughout the campus
- you can use Car Park 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7
- Car Park 1 & 8 are Staff Car Parks and you cannot park here.
- Overflow parking is available in DkIT Sport (Car Park 9) – where there is a regular shuttle bus to main campus.
- There will be a drop off area at Main Reception for display materials which we advise you use if parking in Car Park 9.
