The short fiction film Reflection was selected in the Drama category and was made as part of the year-long Film Project module in Year 3. The successful team who created this short film consisted of Stephen Finlay – Producer, Megan Hughes - Writer/Director, Conor Leddy – Director of Photography, Wiktoria Rabiega – Editor and Jessica Doherty - Sound 

The TV drama pilot Dead & Buried was selected in the Entertainment & Comedy Drama category and was made as part of the year-long Major Project module in Year 4. The team that worked on this TV pilot included Producer - Laura Kerley, Writer/Director - Michael Coady Director of Photography - Conor Lewis, Sound - Grace Boyd, Editor -Jack Healy, Production Design - Kate Smyth and Co-Writer - Claire Smyth

Programme Director of the BA (Hons) in Film & Television Production, Sarah McCann added,

'Once again our students' work has been nominated alongside the best of creative content produced by Film & TV courses across Ireland for the prestigious Royal Television Society Student Awards. It is testament to the hard work and dedication that our students put into these projects over the course of a full academic year.  Last year we had 2 winners at these awards; Bullet Casings in the Graveyard won Best Factual and Chloe O'Reilly won the award for Best Editing for the TV drama pilot Unravel.  We're looking forward to the awards ceremony in the RTE Studios next week and are hoping to take back another trophy to add to our display cabinet'.
