2026 DKIT Future Stars Award winners announced

Leinster Rugby players Diarmuid Mangan, Naoise Smyth and Josh Ericson were on hand to celebrate the annual Dundalk Institute of Technology Sports & Societies Future Stars Awards.

The event, founded by Ray McCabe, the Leinster Community Rugby Officer and Dundalk IT Rugby Development Officer, is carried on in partnership with Leinster Rugby. The event marks the tremendous work being done at the schools and clubs levels in the North East region, with players from across the area represented in both the Boys and Girls teams.

The Future Stars Awards are just one way of promoting the possibilities for players to secure scholarships towards education and a High Performance facility to assist in the pursuit of personal rugby development.
