DkIT’s Chinese Summer Camp to return to campus this June

  • The free camp is open to secondary school students and will take place from June 16th to June 27th

The Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) School of Business and Humanities is thrilled to announce the return of our Free Chinese Summer Camp, following the success of last year's event. This immersive camp will take place from June 16th to June 27th on the DkIT campus.

Our Summer Camp aims to foster an appreciation for the Chinese language and culture among secondary school students and is suitable for beginners. Over the course of two weeks, participants will enjoy morning language classes and afternoon cultural activities designed to be both educational and fun.

This camp is proudly funded by the Department of Education, through Languages Connect and Post-Primary Languages Ireland (PPLI), to promote foreign languages learning, especially the lesser-taught languages. It is completely free for secondary students! No prior knowledge of the Chinese language or culture is needed to participate. To ensure commitment, PPLI requires a refundable booking deposit to secure a place.
