DkIT’s Flexible and Professional Learning Bucks National Trend!

Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) has a proud legacy of providing flexible, professional and industry recognised part-time education and the Institute is pleased to announce that it is now open for applications to its Spring 2024 suite of courses.

DkIT’s part-time student intake for 2022/2023 saw the Institute buck the national trend. While enrolments nationally fell by 8% over the past 12 months DKIT saw its numbers grow 4%. One fifth of DkIT’s total student body now study part-time.

The Institute is also delighted to report that this Autumn’s applications were up 24% on the same period last year with students drawn from all over the northeast and beyond. The top counties from which DkIT’s part-time students hail from are Louth (30%), Dublin (19%), Meath (9%), Monaghan (6%), Cork (5%), Cavan (4%) and Galway (2%).
