RINN AI
RINN AI is a national Research Ireland centre bringing together expertise in artificial intelligence and data science from 15 research performing organisations across Ireland. The centre aims to advance AI research and develop trustworthy, human-centred and socially responsible technologies that address challenges in health, industry and society. Public engagement and collaboration are central to its approach, ensuring that people and communities help shape the technologies that will affect their lives.
NetwellCASALA will contribute to RINN AI’s Human-Centred AI Design theme, drawing on our expertise in digital health, healthy ageing, co-design and real-world evaluation. Led by Dr Julie Doyle, our research will explore how AI can support inclusive, personalised and adaptive digital health experiences, particularly for older adults and people living with multiple chronic conditions. We will examine what influences trust, accessibility and effective engagement, working with patients, carers, healthcare professionals and community partners through our Living Lab. Our involvement will also support public engagement and AI literacy activities, helping people understand AI and contribute to its responsible development.
