      In this talk, Pilar will introduce students to the different bacteria that we might ingest or come in contact with when preparing food: the good (beneficial bacteria), the bad (spoilage bacteria) and the ugly (food pathogens).
Pilar will also go through basic food safety practices to avoid food poisoning and highlight the importance of hand washing as part of good hygiene.
