United Youth Initiative Summer Camp 2026 - 22nd-28th June 2026
The United Youth Initiative, funded by PEACEPLUS, is delighted to return for Summer 2026 with our ongoing project in partnership with Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) through the 💧 H2O Heroes Programme!
We are running two exciting weeks of summer camps at the locations and dates below (please not children can only attend one week):
Week One
Dún a Rí Forest Park, 3rd Monaghan Scout Centre,
Carrickmacross Rd, Cabra, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, A82 A5X0
Monday 22nd – Friday 26th June
Ages 11-14
About the Programme
Our initiative brings young people from diverse backgrounds together under the theme:
💚Healthy Mind
💪Healthy Body
🌍Healthy Environment
Over recent months, we’ve delivered a wide range of engaging activities, including:
- Creative workshops
- Sports sessions
- Environmental education
- Good relations workshops
These experiences are designed to support personal growth, wellbeing, and—most importantly—to foster positive relationships among children and young people.
H2O Heroes and United Youth Initiative are also proud Gaisce – The President’s Award Official Challenge Partners.
Fully Funded Programme
Thanks to PEACEPLUS funding, participation is completely FREE of charge.
Please note: If your child has previously participated in the programme, they are NOT eligible to register again.
