Join us from 5th to 9th October 2026 for DkIT's Mental Health Awareness Week.

A week of wellbeing, support, and fun activities designed to promote positive mental health across our campus community. Students can take part in a range of on-site events, supports, and interactive activities throughout the week.

Sensory Guided Nature Walk

Discover our walking trail with free sensory experiences. Join us at 1pm outside the Student Information Desk (30-minute walk).

Song Workshop

Creative songwriting workshop. No prior musical experience is necessary. During the workshop (1hr), participants will be invited to share thoughts on both the challenges they face and what makes them happy. These ideas will inspire a song!

The open door is a space to talk things through (1hr), unpack what's going on, help put you in the right direction in a supportive and non-judgemental way, e.g. lonely, not sure what to do, missing assignments or classes.

Do some mindful drawing, listen to some relaxing music, with some tea/coffee and biscuits! (1hr).
