‘After my Arts degree I applied for the PME and I'm now a post-primary school teacher!’
Cara, an Arts graduate from DkIT, followed a familiar pathway for Arts graduates, and has become a post-primary school teacher after completing her undergraduate degree at DkIT, followed by a Professional Master of Education (PME).
One mentor for me was Kevin Howard, my lecturer in Arts. His depth of knowledge inspires me to always progress.
Originally Cara had started a degree at a large university in Dublin.
The class sizes were very large, and it wasn't suited to my learning needs. Small class sizes win DkIT made my learning experience more personal. I studied History and Politics as my electives in the Arts degree.
