About Student Services

Student Services, which operates under the umbrella of the Registrar's Office, is the section of the Institute which deals explicitly with non-academic supports for students.
Health Unit

Counselling

Going to college is a wonderful experience for most people most of the time. However some of you may find the transition from school to college difficult, you may feel home sick and isolated, or you may have a sudden crisis like a bereavement or illness.
Careers Office

DkIT Careers Service is an integrated service open to students and recent graduates of Dundalk Institute of Technology looking for careers advice or educational guidance. We also assist employers interested in graduate recruitment.
Chaplaincy

The basic role of the chaplain is to be involved with others in the provision of holistic care within the College community. Holistic care is concerned with the whole person and includes their social, emotional, physical and spiritual health and well being.
Access Office

The Access Office promotes access to the institute from groups that have traditionally been under-represented in third-level education including mature students, students from a background of socio-economic disadvantage and those from the Traveller community.

Sports and Societies

The Sports and Societies Office plays a pivotal role in the life of the Institute assisting students in the set-up, organisation and running of Sports Clubs and Societies.
