Research has been a key feature of the Music & Media Department since its foundation and underpins the academic work of the Department. Several members of Staff are leading figures in their fields nationally, and their association with DkIT places the Institute in the mainstream of creation and investigation of music in Ireland. The Department of Music offers graduate courses to MA and PhD level.
