The products and solutions offered by Nova Leah originated from research conducted within the Regulated Software Research Centre (RSRC) in Dundalk Institute of Technology. The RSRC have a long standing international reputation for excellence in medical device software and healthcare technology solutions development.

Due to the applied nature of this medical device cybersecurity research and the impressive benefits that have been realised through pilot projects with medical device manufacturers, the natural step was to spin this research work into a commercial venture so that cutting edge services may be provided to the healthcare industry.

The founders of Nova Leah are national and international experts in the areas of medical device security and medical device software, and established project leaders in authoring a number of international ISO/IEC medical security technical reports.
