N-TUTORR PSB Meeting

This month’s Programme Steering Board took place at ATU’s Sligo Campus, where project Institutional leads, Stream leads and THEA’s PMO team members came together to plan future steps, and review recent progress. Some exciting outcomes from the meeting, with a key focus on upcoming events and actions.

‘N-TUTORR Week’ Planning in Full Flow Across the Sector

Just a few weeks to go until ‘N-TUTORR Week’ is in full swing. Kicking off on Monday Feb 26^th until Friday Mar 1^st, it encompasses a series of events taking part across all seven project partners. The final DkIT schedule will be circulated shortly but it's shaping up to be an exciting week with 10 events taking place locally for DkIT Staff and Students, details to follow. Ciara O’Shea is representing DkIT on the national working group leading the co-ordination of N-TUTORR week.

“How N-TUTORR is supporting DkIT” presented at local meeting with Institutional managers.

Demonstrating how the N-TUTORR project is supporting DkIT via multiple approaches, Ronan Bree delivered a presentation to institutional managers. This presentation ran in parallel with a workshop from Brian Mulligan of edfutures.ie.

Visit to TUD Blanchardstown

Eugene Stewart and Ronan Bree visited TUD Blanchardstown earlier this month to explore digital classroom technologies in place on their campus. “The welcome, support and tour we received were second to none, I’d (Ronan) like to personally thank TUD’s Tom Egan, Derek Bevan and Cormac Allen for their support and expertise shared on the day. Another example of strong collaboration between N-TUTORR partners”.

Student Empowerment Team and Stream 1 National Team Meeting

On Wed 31 Jan, each partner institution’s student empowerment co-ordinator (Angela Magennis from DkIT) will travel along with institutional leads (Ronan Bree from DkiT), and Stream 1 Co-leads (Moira Maguire from DkIT, and Carina Ginty of ATU) to discuss progress and plans for Stream 1 of the project. Student champions who are available will also be attending.
