The DigiBio Healthtech Innovation programme is seeking ambitious creative professionals with clinical, commercial, financial, entrepreneurial or technical backgrounds interested in finding innovative solutions to real healthcare problems.

DigiBio is a 10-month fulltime postgraduate programme providing hands-on training in needs-led innovation based on the highly successful Stanford Biodesign innovation methodology combined with lean start up and design thinking approaches.



The post graduate programme provides a unique opportunity to spend 8 weeks in a clinical environment identifying and assessing unmet needs, and subsequently inventing and validating proposed solutions to address those needs with real customers.

In return for full time commitment to the programme, participants will receive a tax-free scholarship of €38k , access to world class mentors and health care industry leaders.

The programme is hosted and managed by Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) in partnership with core partner Royal College of Surgeons Ireland (RCSI) University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dublin City University (DCU), Trinity College Dublin (TCD) and Tyndall National Institute, this transformative 10-month full-time postgraduate programme, commences in September 2025.
