DkIT to Take Part in National Academic Integrity Week 2021

DkIT is taking part in The National Academic Integrity Week, curated by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), which is taking place from 18th October – 22^rd October 2021. National events are being offered by HEIs as well as webinars offered by ENAI and ICAI. The International Day of Action Against Contract Cheating is taking place on 20^th October 2021.

DkIT are contributing to the Academic Integrity Week schedule with 4 events taking place over the week:

Tuesday 19th October 2021 - 1PM	Academic Integrity Digital Badge for Students Launch This session will launch the DkIT Library Digital Badge for students on Academic Integrity. In this digital badge students will: Learn what academic integrity is and why it is important. Understand how academic integrity relates to all of your work in DkIT. Recognise when you need to give credit to others. Be familiar with citing and referencing using Harvard.	Click for webinar
Wednesday 20^th October 2021 - 1PM	Epigeum Academic Integrity Support Modules for Students and Staff Launch This session will provide an overview of the Epigeum Academic Integrity support modules for students and staff (https://www.epigeum.com/courses/studying/academic-integrity/) that are now available to all DkIT students and staff. Thursday 21^st October 2021-1PM	Managing Your Time to Ensure Academic Integrity: A Workshop for Students Stress is known to be associated with plagiarism and poor academic practice. This short, interactive session will explore effective ways for students to manage time and competing deadlines to promote good academic practice.	Click for webinar
