DkIT Music Student launches another Toe Tapping Tune

DkIT are proud to report that one of its Music Students Gavin Gribben recently launched a brand new-single titled ‘Pub Crawl’. This toe tapping tune is another upbeat melody from the 20-year-old Country Music singer and guitarist from Mayobridge, Co Down. Gavin’s new single guarantees dancing fans approval and this assured floor filler was produced by Jonathan Owens at Spout Studios



Last year Gavin’s single ‘Find the Right Girl’, went straight to the number one position in the iTunes UK Country charts upon its release. This song was Gribben’s debut jiving single which became a hot favourite with the jivers on dance floors across Ireland and the UK. The song also went on to win an award this year at the Northern Ireland Country Music Awards 2022 in the Tullyglass Hotel, Ballymena.

Gribben who started singing at a young age and was crowned All-Ireland solo singing champion in the INEC arena, Killarney at age 14 is currently in third year of the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Music in the Department of Creative Arts, Media and Music. Gavin is a professional artist in the genres of Irish country and folk music, and in recent years has performed across Ireland in venues such as the INEC Arena, Killarney and in festivals such as the Carlingford Oyster Festival. Gavin has featured on many radio stations including Q-Radio and BBC Radio Ulster and has also been a favourite on TV channels such as Spotlight TV, Hot Country TV and TG4. In 2018, he released his debut album, ‘Living the Dream’ aged only 16 years old which was hugely successful for the young singer.

Gavin is currently busy working in the studio on new material which will be released before the end of the year.
