DKIT Lecturer Awarded Fellowship at Universitas of Indonesia

DKIT lecturer Angela Hamouda was awarded a fellowship to Universitas of Indonesia.



This Summer DKIT lecturer Angela Hamouda was awarded a fellowship to Universitas of Indonesia. She spent the first week on campus at Depok, West Java, working with a cross-section of students and academics during a series of workshops and lectures on creativity, entrepreneurship and social innovation. She also delivered a lecture on How to Create the Entrepreneurial Graduate and a third level campus that embraces entrepreneurial thinking.  

During the second week, Angela delivered a paper at an International Conference on Social Science and Networking. She also worked with a group of local female entrepreneurs. The university is currently working on formalising a partnership between the two colleges which will help to realise the potential for future research collaboration and exchange of students.

Angela stated "This was a very rewarding experience which was mutually beneficial. Indonesia is a wonderful country with incredible people and culture. I learned so much from the experience. I look forward to collaborating in the future with our partners in Depok"
